Kaplan Nursing Admission Assessment

Jackson College uses the Kaplan Admissions Test as the standardized nursing admission assessment for all nursing programs. The Kaplan Admissions Test evaluates the necessary academic skills essential to students’ success in our nursing programs. Skill areas covered on the assessment are reading, math, writing, and science. Also, the Kaplan exam will include testing of each candidate’s current level of knowledge of physiology.

Beginning June 2024, there will be a $50 fee for the Kaplan Admissions Test (maximum of 2 attempts). The fee is payable online to Kaplan during the registration process.

To prepare for the Kaplan Admissions Test, students may consider purchasing the Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams Prep: Your All-in-One Guide to the Kaplan and HESI Exams (Kaplan Test Prep). The study guide is available for purchase online, in the Jackson College Bookstore and will be available for use in the Library.
